The textile industry in Halmstad was founded as long ago as 1823, and machine felt manufacturing started in the mid 19^th century. Nordifa still has the same core business – development, production and marketing of textile products for industrial use.

Today’s Nordifa is a family-owned company and one of the few independent European companies with a complete production chain for needled and pressed felt and for woven special products. This provides us with unique opportunities for tailor-making products according to the customers’ changing requirements.

We work with four product areas: Advanced industrial textiles, Filtration,  Moulded products and Sports surfaces. In 2007 turnover amounted to MSEK 126 and the number of employees to around 125.
