Production

Production begins with the fibres being thoroughly mixed in a special mixer. The fibre mixture is carded out into a fibrous web.

Several layers of this fibrous web are put together to form a wad. After this several wads are put together before needling.

The wad layers are needled together to a needled felt, which passes through the machine several times, until the felt has the right thickness and other qualities.

Spun yarn is warp and weft that are woven together into different patterns, widths and thicknesses.

The material - felted or woven – gets its surface structure, dimension stability and abrasion resistance with the help of thermo-fixing.

The material is impregnated so that it gets precisely the qualities required for its specific area of use, e.g. filtering.

There are a number of powerful machines for cutting and punching, which have high precision and great capacity.

Specially-constructed sewing machines and skilled staff guarantee a high degree of measurement accuracy, simple assembly and perfect functioning.

With moulding, felt, plastic, leather, rubber etc can be joined together to make end products in any shape, for fittings and damping, for example. Moulding of larger products requires a large machine. The press dimensions for this are 2.5 x 3.5 m, with a largest clear opening of 1.5 m.

Cutting with water jets at up to 4000 bar. The box holds two robots, each with seven spindles.
